New York Giants make a tough decision regarding their head coach

The New York Giants are having another bad season and are already making decisions.

The New York Giants are going through a very rough patch. They’ve been trying to restructure for several seasons, but things aren’t improving. It was thought that with Daniel Jones at the helm, the franchise’s direction would change, but it was just more of the same. Eli Manning retired, and with him, the great achievements of the organization.

Several moves have been made for this season, such as signing Russell Wilson to a one-year contract. However, the former Seattle Seahawks quarterback has shown that his career is over. Rookie Jaxson Dart has shown that he is the present and future of the Giants, with great performances, carrying the weight of a rather mediocre team.

The injuries to Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo have left the former Ole Miss quarterback completely isolated. This was evident last Sunday against the Chicago Bears. They were let in, yet again, in a game that seemed practically won. Things are going from bad to worse for the Giants, so they are already making decisive moves to try and correct the organization’s course.

Radical Decision

Following the recent comeback by the Chicago Bears against the Giants, the New York team has decided to fire its head coach, Brian Daboll. The coach has amassed a 2-8 record in 10 weeks, which practically guarantees that the Giants will miss the playoffs. The decision was heavily influenced by the team’s inability to win two games they had practically secured.

Against the Bears, they couldn’t hold onto their lead and allowed 14 points in the fourth quarter to lose the game. But the worst of all was against the Broncos in Denver. They dominated the game at will and were leading 32-0 heading into the fourth quarter. However, Bo Nix found his rhythm and helped his team rally for a final score of 33-32. The New York Giants’ kicker missed two extra points. Brian Daboll will not continue as head coach, and his interim replacement will be assistant coach and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.
