The Miami Dolphins have had a season to forget, and it’s only halfway through. It’s been incredibly difficult to perform at a high level and in the way all the fans expect. In the nine weeks played so far, they’ve lost seven games and won just two, which is a true disaster. Only the New York Jets have a worse record.
Things haven’t gone well, especially after losing their star player, Tyreek Hill. The wide receiver suffered a very serious injury in Week 4, dislocating his knee and tearing several ligaments. The injury has been so severe that he’s considering retirement at just 31 years old. There’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding the WR.
On the other hand, it’s been one of Tua Tagovailoa’s worst seasons. The Dolphins’ quarterback has been underwhelming, and it seems they’ve already lost patience with him. They opened Week 9 at home against the Baltimore Ravens, in what would be a complete blowout by the Ravens on the road.
Baltimore would end up winning 28-6 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Both of the Dolphins’ offensive lines were a disaster and they failed to capitalize on their opportunities, especially in the first quarter. They paid dearly for the loss, as their relationship with the fans is completely broken, since they were booed. It’s regrettable what’s happening.
The first decisions
After the painful loss in TNF, the decision was made to fire general manager Chris Grier after a complete disaster in just nine weeks. But that’s not all, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that the Dolphins will keep Mike McDaniel at the helm until the end of the season, after which they will evaluate his almost certain departure. He’s not the only one, as there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The QB hasn’t performed well and they’ve already lost patience with him, so his future is uncertain.
