The Buffalo Bills lost in Week 10, and Josh Allen is starting to doubt his MVP chances.
Without a doubt, Josh Allen is one of the most talented quarterbacks of recent years. He has been the leader of the Buffalo Bills, who are looking to return to the Super Bowl. Although they have been consistently eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason, they have shown good playoff performance, but what matters is winning the ring.
Allen won the 2024 MVP award, beating out other top candidates like Lamar Jackson and Jared Goff. With a 13-4 record and strong individual performance, Josh Allen secured the MVP. Every year and every season, he is a contender for the most prestigious individual award.
This season, he’s the player topping the MVP list, even though the best quarterback of the entire season has been Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams. However, the Bills have shown a rather inconsistent performance, leaving many questions unanswered. It seemed that after defeating the Chiefs, they would be the most dominant team, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
MVP title is in jeopardy
Last Sunday, the Bills visited the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. It seemed like a routine game for the New York team, but it was anything but. Tua Tagovailoa’s team won 30-13, in a complete blowout. The Florida team dominated three quarters, while the fourth was very close. Buffalo didn’t score until the fourth quarter, where they put up 13 points.
The Dolphins’ defense knew how to stop a talented quarterback. It’s clear that Josh Allen is carrying the entire weight of the team and that Buffalo is truly far from being a Super Bowl contender. There are other teams in the AFC that are better and more solid. Josh is in jeopardy for his second consecutive MVP award.
